Terms and privacy policy
We respect the privacy of the information you give us and we
will exercise all reasonable care in using it. Except with your
consent, we will use it only to create memorials and tributes,
or for statistical purposes to help us in our work on the
prevention of road deaths and injuries.
While creating a memorial you can decide whether or not you
want RoadPeace to contact you. If you decide to allow this, we
will get in touch with you by post or email when we have
particular campaigns in which we think you might like to
help.
While we take every care in the use of the information, we
cannot be held liable for the consequences of any errors or
omissions we make.
We reserve the right to edit the information you give us for
display.
Memorials will remain visible on this site. We reserve the
right to remove memorials after a period of time, suspend the
service or remove it entirely without notice. Moreover we
cannot be held liable for loss of service arising from actions
taken by our web hosting company in relation to software,
hardware or other changes that may be implemented.
Once your memorial is displayed, anyone can ask us to
display a tribute to the victim on the memorial. We will review
each tribute and then be free to display it without reference
to you.
We are registered with the Data Protection Registrar.
We will ask you to agree to these terms when you submit the
information.
RoadPeace acknowledges with thanks the legal advice of Leigh, Day & Co.,
solicitors, in connection with this Internet Memorial
Service.
